The Business Challenge
As part of regulatory compliance, the bank had to devise a disaster recovery strategy where data must be recovered swiftly in the event of a crisis, ensuring its services to customers remain undisrupted and data properly secured.
Acclivis designed the solution such that data is replicated from production site to DR site so that it can be recovered within the SLA requirements of 12 hours of recovery point objective (RPO) and 4 hours of recovery time objective (RTO).
In addition to IT DR, the bank also subscribed to Equinix-Acclivis Business Resiliency Centre (EABRC) services where its employees would be provided an alternative work area in a crisis situation. The EABRC accommodates up to 120 workers at any point in time.
