What the role involves

Cloud Solution Architect
We are looking for a passionate Cloud Solution Architect to be based in Singapore and support deals engagements across Asia. This is a pre-sales engineering role where you would need to build trust with customers, leading to successful deal closures. You will be responsible for all aspects of the solutions engagement, including architectural design sessions, driving proof of concept, project engagements as well as initial implementations. The successful candidate has a strong start-up mentality and experience, as well as proven track record within a cross-cultural multi-national corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work hand-in-hand with sales leaders to identify and engage enterprise customers (across Asia).
• Be a cloud advocate and champion public/hybrid/multi-cloud adoption among enterprise customers.
• Expert in designing migrate-to-the-cloud architectures, map on-prem services to relevant services in public clouds, demonstrate TCO savings to customers
• Partner with Project Managers and various solution teams to deliver and implement cloud projects for customers.Key Qualifications:
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
• Cloud certifications, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to drive measurable business value
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

You will understand the client’s requirements and address these requirements with Acclivis suite of service offerings. This requires you to be technically sound with a proven ability to put together a technical solution proposal. Previous pre-sales or solution architect experience is highly advantageous.Job Scope:
• Enterprise client selling experience, very comfortable engaging in technical conversations with IT mgr and above • Deep understanding of private and hybrid cloud, and vitualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Openstack, Microsoft Azure, AWS) • Be a trusted IT advisor to clients with the ability to translate clients’ needs to tangible technical solutions • Familiarity with selling managed services (managed infrastructure services, managed DR, etc) • Create technical solution proposal, working with key technology vendors (IBM, CISCO, HPE, Huawei, VMWare, etc) • Leads in the sales negotiation and closure • This is a quota-carrying role.Requirements:
